Sky package offers to suit you

Since Sky became one of the leading Broadband, Television and Telephone service providers in the United Kingdom and Ireland, they have strived to offer the best services possible to their many customers. In July of 2012, it was announced that they currently have over four million customers with a Sky+HD subscription.

Of the television services that Sky currently offers to their customers, there are four different packages to choose from. There is the Sky Entertainment package, Sky Entertainment Extra, Sky Sports and Sky Movies, with each one having its own unique appeal to customers.

The Sky Entertainment package is the most basic television package that is currently on offer; it comes with 40 channels including 7 of the most popular channels on television, such as Sky Atlantic. Even though it’s considered the basic package, the Entertainment package also comes with 21 high definition channels. The Sky Entertainment Extra package includes all 40 channels from the Entertainment package as well as an extra 52 channels. Of these 92 channels offered in this particular package, 35 of them are in high definition.

The Sky Sports Package is an extra that you can add to your Entertainment pack. This particular Sky package offers you 6 dedicated sports channels, including the new dedicated Formula One channel. It features sports such as football with matches from The Barclays Premier League and UEFA Champions League being shown live. As well as football there are over 100 other sporting events that you can watch, from golf, to boxing, to cricket or tennis. All 6 channels are currently available in high definition, plus some sporting events are also available in 3D.

Lastly, Sky Offers a movie package that gives you eleven movie channels at your fingertips showing you new movies every week, all of which are available in high definition. There are movie channels dedicated to genres, like Comedy, Action & Adventure, Drama & Romance and Family. It is also possible to connect your Sky+ box to your Sky Hub so you can stream hundreds of movies using Sky’s on demand service.

As well as being able to view these services on the television, Sky has their own Sky Go service. This is where you can view Sky Movies, Sky Sports, entertainment and kid’s TV wirelessly on your smartphone, tablet, Xbox 360 or laptop. To make this service even better, it is free to all Sky TV customers!

All packages are available on a mix and match basis, so if you didn’t want to have the Sky Movies package but you did want the Sports package, that’s entirely possible. Sky offers numerous different bundle options so you can build the perfect package to suit you.
